TORONTO ACTOR, ART DIRECTOR, ARTISTA,
BY WAY OF CANADA, JAPAN, Y ARGENTINA.
Ariel Pagliuso is a Toronto-based actor, art director, and artist, focusing on performance, art direction, design, and film. Originally born in Argentina, Ariel moved with his family to Canada at the age of 14 to start a new life. Learning a new language and culture came with its challenges, but growing up in a city like Buenos Aires made him resilient, adaptable, and open-minded.
Not knowing the English language, Ariel searched for new ways to communicate and express himself. He naturally gravitated toward art, and later acting, as his confidence and creative voice continued to grow. Since moving to Toronto, he has built a successful creative career through client work, artistic commissions, and cultural projects. For the past four years, Ariel has served as an Art Director for the Toronto Raptors, and the Toronto FC by helping shape creative campaigns, fan experiences, merchandise, and brand storytelling for one of Canada's most iconic sports organizations.
Ariel draws from his experiences and cultural influences from the countries that have shaped him most—Argentina, Japan, and Canada. Through the boldness of art and the power of imagination, he explores identity, belonging, community, and human connection, while continuing to develop his voice as a performer and storyteller.
Inspired by his Latin heritage, family, love, pain, politics, football culture, and the disruptive moments that continue to shape our lives, Ariel's work seeks to create dialogue, emotion, and connection. Thank you. Chololove
